The GT 280 is a Mediterranean “day cruiser” conceived to enjoy the sea with friends and family during the day. for up to 10 passengers while its interior is ideal for a couple to spend the night
The heart of its design is in an inverted, sharp but sturdy bow hull that lengthens the water line to offer greater longitudinal stability and contributes to increase cabin space. This design also stands out for the elimination of the joints between hull and superstructure.
When sailing, the hull stands out for other qualities such as the effectiveness of its V-hull, capable of providing comfort and dryness even in rough seas. An excellent speed potential with a Volvo Penta V8 engine of 350hp that passes 40 knots of maximum speed and that allows navigating to a gear between 26 and 27 knots much more economically. While its comfort is worthy of a family program, its piloting is sporty, easy to manoeuvre and with an excellent grip on the turns.
The exterior distribution focuses around a comfortable government with two ergonomic seats, footrest and adjustable steering wheel (optional). A wide and enveloping windshield that acts at the same time of sturdy handle. It incorporates a wet bar with a lid oriented to the aft social area where the functionality of the design stands out with the convertible solarium that serves as a cockpit seat and a large sun mat.
In port there is space to facilitate access to a bathing platform that is wide and includes bathing ladder and shower. The same corridor extends towards the bow giving access to a large built in solarium.
The front cover is raised to accommodate a cabin whose sliding door acts as the sole access point. The natural light is generous thanks to the attractive longitudinal portholes of the hull and the interior height is enough to spend occasional nights highlighting its amplitude. It has an interior refrigerator standard on port and a separate toilet as standard adding an important extra point of comfort.
